I first met Greg Barrette when we were 5 years old, we just moved into the same neighborhood, we lived 2 houses away from each other. We instantly became best friends. I was in California when news of his death was told to me. I was unable to be at his funeral and for this I am so sorry. Greg was a great friend, and family man, I think about him often. Although I miss him very much, I now look back and celebrate his life, I think of him and a smile comes to my heart. May God be with him . He has two beautiful daughters and his widowed wife that was his best friend.
Like Dan Klotz, I too lived across the street from Greg since we were 5 years old. We went to St. Sebastian school together & then eventually to Lowrey, so there were alot of years together. Then we lost contact. It's sad to see someone you grew up with go in the prime of life. That is why it is so important to get together again for this reunion. 40 years is a long time!
